Hello, and thanks for any input in advance. I have a unique situation that I have not seen before and cant seem to fix it.
Inside vCenter (6.5.0-5973321) under the Network Tab, I am showing some old networks and at this point are rogue. If you click on the Host tab for the network, their are NO hosts allocated to the network. If you click on VMs tab, there is one VM associated with the network. Here is where the problem lies, if you click on Edit Settings for the specific VM associated with the network, there are no network adapters assigned to it.
Logging into the ESXi host directly associated with the VM shows no instances of the rogue network.
Unfortunately its not a VM that I can rebuild easily.
Ive tried disconnecting and re connecting the host to vCenter with no resolve.
Ive also totally removed the ESXi host by using the "Remove from inventory" then re adding the host. This did get rid of the networks within vCenter but they pop'ed right back up when the host was re imported. Again there is no record of the network existing on the host itself, so I think its just information retained in the vCenter DB.
Thanks,
Jarret
