I have an app layer of Notepad++, version 6.4.5, that is currently installed on our computers. I created a new app layer of version 6.5.1, and pushed it out to three of my testing computers, simultaneously removing the old version of Notepad++. Looking in Control Panel on the three computers, it shows the new version installed today. When I open Notepad++ with the desktop icon or from the Programs menu, the version in the Help About shows the old version. When I click on Uninstall/Change in Control Panel Programs and Features, it asks me if I want to install.... you guessed it, the version 6.4.5! Even though in Control panel Programs and Features, it is showing Notepad++ version 6.5.1. In the Mirage Console, it shows that the old version was removed, and the new version is installed, and the status is Done. I am trying a removal of the "new" version of the app on one of the computers, then will reapply it to see if that will correct the issue. Can anyone explain what may have caused this to happen? Thank you.
