Transfer esssentials plus host license to DR host

Hi,

Was hoping someone may be able to help on a licensing query. I've been trawling the forums but can't find a definitive answer. We run vSphere Essentials Plus 5.1 and have 3 hosts in production. We are about to install another host in the DR site. We haven't purchased a license for the DR host yet as I'd like to know if we can transfer one of the licenses from a prod host to DR should the need arise ?

It seems a waste to have to purchase a license for DR when it may never be used. We will be using Veeam to replicate backups to DR eventually so we can't use the free version of ESXi on the host.
