Extend diskspace for a shared harddisk used by two Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise VMs using Microsoft Failover Clustering

Hello.

A customer is using ESXi 5,5, 1746018.

Two VMs with OS Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise using Microsoft Failover Clustering have several shared disks all Thick Provisioned, Eager Zeroed.

One Shared disk is running low on available space.

Can the provisioned space just be increased through the vSphere GUI as one would on a non-shared disk or are there special considerations such as one of the nodes that must be closed down before the change or anything else?
