There are various Youtube videos online how to fix this annoying issue, but basically when installing El Capitan on a Mac, you need to hit Control-S to enter "single user mode" and adjust the Date/time due to certificate been expired..
On VMWare. you must do this on the host, at least, After install, ts too late. as the error comes up after install but before restart.
I'm trying to find out others ways around this but i cant find any.. But more importantly, why only El Cap? why not pror-2015 OS's like 10.7, 10.8, 10.9 and 10.10 ?
When Apple updated certs in October when they posted to website to fix failed OS's install in VMware, did they do it all 'except' El-cap or something?
